Interiors - the making of a spiral vase

Grants Marble Manufactory LtdThe pictures above show the stages of manufacture of a fluted vase, with carved integral handles, and a fluted lid, from carrara marble.
The block is first roughed out, then turned to the basic shape, smoothed, then the handles and neck are carved. Then final fluting is added, and the whole polished to a finish.
